Philco Model 49-505

This radio is a Philco model 49-505 from 1949. The unusual bakelite case is in excellent shape, with no cracks or chips in the plastic. This radio has been electronically restored to working condition. All repairs have been done using vintage parts, by hiding modern parts inside the shells of the originals, or by using reproduction parts, thereby preserving the under-the-chassis appearance as well as the outward look.
